Slow, peaceful atmospheric ambient music.

The music is made using a phasing technique similar to that of Steve Reich's 'It's Gonna Rain'. Imagine two virtual tape loops of the same sound playing at the same time but slightly out of sync. As the loops repeat, they drift apart creating new structures from the original sound.
This album is made up of layers of these out-of-sync tape loops. The loops are from a variety of sources - recorded music, found sounds and field recordings. These field recordings include a kitchen clock, church bells and small birds.

You may also hear elements used on previous albums in a different guise.

Field recordings, found sounds, recycled motifs.
